Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Sidequest Local, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us"), a Delaware Corporation. By creating an account or using the Sidequest mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: THESE TERMS CONTAIN A BINDING ARBITRATION PROVISION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER (SECTION 9). IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

1. Eligibility & Age Restriction

The Service is strictly limited to users who are 18 years of age or older. By registering, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old. Accounts found to belong to minors will be terminated immediately and data deleted.

2. Assumption of Risk & Physical Safety

Sidequest connects humans for real-world interactions. We do not conduct criminal background checks or identity verification on our users.

Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that meeting strangers and attending user-generated events carries inherent risks, including bodily injury, emotional distress, or theft. You agree that your participation in any activity is at your sole risk.

SIDEQUEST LOCAL, INC. HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR THE CONDUCT OF ANY USER OR THE OCCURRENCE OF ANY INCIDENT AT AN OFFLINE ACTIVITY. YOU HEREBY RELEASE THE COMPANY FROM ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF YOUR INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS.

Safety Guidelines

You agree to adhere to the following safety practices:

Meet in Public: Always choose a busy, public location for meetings.
Tell a Friend: Inform a trusted person of your plans and location.
Transportation: Arrange your own transportation to and from events.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

Solicit prostitution, sell drugs, or conduct illegal commerce.
Harass, stalk, defame, or threaten other users.
Post content containing nudity, graphic violence, or hate speech.
Spam users or use the platform for unauthorized commercial advertising.

We reserve the right to suspend or ban any account without refund or notice for violating these rules.

4. User Content & Licensing

You retain ownership of the photos and event details you post. However, by posting, you grant Sidequest Local, Inc. a worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use your content to operate and improve the Service.

5. Location Services

The core functionality of the App requires precise geolocation. By using the App, you consent to the tracking of your location to display the "Feed" and calculate distances to events.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.

7. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA). You waive your right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action lawsuit.
